Stephen is a professional drummer based in Crawley, West Sussex. He began his journey with the drum kit 17 years ago, under the mentorship of Scottish session drummer Tom Annan. After several years of playing in various school bands ranging in style, led by multi-instrumentalist Leon Thorne (Martha Reeves, The Red Hot Chilli Pipers), Stephen decided to pursue music as a career.
Stephen’s playing has taken him across the world, including South Korea, Germany, Bahrain, Luxembourg and The Netherlands – not to mention, the length and breadth of the UK! His experience includes many theatre shows, function gigs and festivals.
Stephen was resident drummer for GT’s Boos Band from 2013 to 2015, and recorded on their critically acclaimed debut album Steak House. The band made an appearance on BBC4 UK's Best Part-Time Bandwith Rhod Gilbert and Midge Ure in 2015.
