Madeleine Baron - Piano
Madeleine is a professional pianist and musical director and has performed across England and Scotland. She trained at the University of Edinburgh and now works as a freelance musician in London. Most of her playing is collaborative, including playing for singers, within theatre orchestras and for cabarets. Her latest role was as assistant music director for Hamlet with the RCS, where she performed on keyboard at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon. She is passionate about piano teaching, and she had the delight of teaching in Edinburgh at the prestigious Morningside School of Music for three years, as well as doing her own external teaching for the past five years. She has a 100% pass rate for exams and tailors all lessons to the individual. Madeleine has a wide range of musical experience; she also plays the viola, trumpet and accordion and is an excellent classical singer, having sung with the National Youth Choir of Scotland. |
