Marianne Hardisty - Cello, Music Theory and Musicianship

Marianne is an experienced freelance musician and teacher, who not only enjoys playing
and teaching classical music, but has also performed across the globe playing different
genres from hip-hop to folk.

Marianne has built up a wealth of experience over her ten years of teaching, including being a workshop leader with BBC Proms Inspire and London
Philharmonic Animate, as well as currently being a cello, musicianship and music theory
tutor with Music Masters. This has led her to become passionate about providing music
education to children of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, and to tailor all lessons to the
needs and goals of each student.
